Tanya Baxter Contemporary has built a reputation for showcasing some of the most exciting international contemporary art. First opened in 1995 in Hong Kong, and three years later in London, in the heart of Chelsea, the gallery exhibits at International art fairs from New York to Monaco, Hong Kong and Paris, and has also curated exhibitions sponsored by Barclays Bank, First Pacific Group, and Standard Chartered Bank at The Royal Academy, The Saatchi Gallery, and Lancaster House, as well as managing collections and exhibitions worldwide.
The gallery’s Post-War Modern and Contemporary Art collection is eclectic and diverse, from Anish Kapoor to Andy Warhol, Ai Weiwei, Frank Auerbach, Mark Rothko, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy, Marc Quinn, Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst. It also features artists with whom it has worked for the past 20 years, including Pip Todd-Warmoth, Richard Allen, Liu Fenghua, Jean-Philippe Duboscq, Min Wae Aung, S.H. Raza, M.F. Husain, Ju Ming, Revati Sharma Singh, Ronnie Ford, Zhao Kailin, Ling Jian, Sacha Jafri and Katarina Monnier.
In 2016 Tanya Baxter Contemporary launched an art advisory office and showroom in Hong Kong to connect with its large client base in Asia.
